Happy Flash Mob of Close To My Heart Consultants

One of the best, most fun moments at Convention last week was this Flash Mob I participated in!  Over 400 ladies dancing and laughing, swinging and shouting.  

The three on stage are our Exec. VP team and they looked like they were having as much fun as us!

  

 

 

Who knows what next year will hold...want to join me?? 

 

Fun in the Sun

With a month still to go until the official start of Summer, I'm already dreading anytime I have to step outside my house.

 

And I'm sure the local pool will be a little more than crowded today as they open for the season.

You've Got a Friend

Good Morning!

After going to bed late last night I didn't expect to wake early today...but I started having little panic attacks about getting my projects cut out for 17 kids later this week! And after a good breakfast of pancakes and fresh strawberries from Engineer...I'm headed into my Closet to clear off a big space to get working.

A Stitch in Time...

Morning all!  I have to get some housekeeping things in order for today so rather than not post anything, I'm going to share one of CTMH's Art Attack videos.

Stitching on layouts and cards gives such a homemade quality that I just really love.  It's something that may take a bit of time to do, but I find it so relaxing while I do it.  And having the right tools makes all the difference, right?

Base & Bling Style

Wow, can I just tell you how glad I am this week is over?  Engineer's flight home was delayed so much it was 11:30 last night when we picked him up!  Poor boys had to get up and go to school today, too.

But don't feel too sorry for them...they are leaving this afternoon for our ward's annual Fathers and Sons campout. 


And they couldn't be more excited.  Well, not as excited as me.  

One whole night all to myself...


Now if only we had a pool.


Today I'm going to share a video from CTMH...all about our Base & Bling line.  I've been playing so much with it lately I wanted you to see just how easy it really is to make your own Bling!

I do admit I make my pendants backwards from Kristine.  I use the Liquid Glass to attach the Glass Cover to whatever I'm using in the pendant, let it dry then trim around the glass.  Then I use just a small drop, not nearly as much as she does, to attach the pieces together.

Find a way that works for you and stick with it.

Wintertime Layouts with Artbooking

Winter is here!  I can't believe how cold it has been getting in my neck of the woods.

Though I realize other places are much, much colder...and wetter...and whiter!

And to me, that is the perfect time to stay bundled up indoors and get some crafting done.  Except it's 2 weeks until Christmas and I have a whole other list of things to be doing!

So, if you can't set aside some time to get some crafting done, take a couple of minutes to watch the newest Artbooking video from Close To My Heart and get some inspiration for all those winter photos!
